In just a couple of hours our tour will literary trace the timeline of one of the oldest cities in Europe. 25. National History Museum
After the city center tour, we are going to Boyana Church, and the National History Museum. The transfers will be made by car.
Boyana Church is a medieval Bulgarian Orthodox church situated on the outskirts of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, in the Boyana quarter. In 1979, the building was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Boyana Church’s frescoes bring epochal change in the mural painting and are considered predecessors of the European Renaissance. The majority of more then 240 figures depicted there have individuality, vitality and psychological dept.
National History Museum is situated in the former residence of the last communist leader Todor Zhivkov at Boyana, and currently contains over 650,000 objects connected to archaeology, fine arts, history and ethnography, although only 10% of them are permanently exhibited. Museum collections comprise materials dating from prehistoric ages till the present.

08:00h. Breakfast.
09:00h. Pick up from the hotel by our representative or a meeting at one of the main sights in the capital.
10:00h. Tour of the center of Sofia.
12:00h. One hour for lunch and shopping.
13:00h. Transfer to National History Museum and then to Boyana Church, as the two landmarks are close to each other.
14:00-15:00h. Guided tour and time for photos.
15:30h. Transfer to the hotel and free time for optional activities.
