Greece is famous for its many sunny days, olive groves, delicious seafood and beautiful views of the islands. Sofia

Sandanski

Sandanski is a popular balneological and spa center. There are 80 springs in the area, the temperature of which ranges from 42 to 81 degrees (Celsius). The salinity of the water is low; it has a rich chemical composition. It is successfully used for treatment and prevention of many diseases of the respiratory tract, artro-rheumatism, diseases of the loco-motor system, the nervous system etc.

They call Sandanski the warmest city in Bulgaria. It is located at 240 meters altitude, and the climate is strongly influenced by the Mediterranean. The average yearly temperature is +14.7 degrees; the winters are mild and warm. The unique microclimate is suitable for lung disease treatment.

Melnik

Melnik it’s the smallest town in Bulgaria. Melnik is a special place. It has long and interesting history but would not reveal it to anyone. Today it has 325 official inhabitants and no one would suggest that only a century ago more than 10 000 people lived here. Well, in 1912 the town was inhabited mostly by Greeks and there were over 1000 houses. However, after it was included into Bulgaria’s territory, most of them moved to Greece.

Rupite

Rupite is a protected area, which is situated at a distance of about 10 km from Petrich and 2 km from the village of Rupite, at the eastern foot of the extinct volcano Kozhuh Mountain (281 meters altitude). The hill was built by volcanic rocks. The remains of an ancient town, existing within the period from 4th century BC to the 6th century AD are located along the south slopes and at the foot of the volcanic hill Kozhuh.

The locality is mostly famous as a place related to the prophet Vanga, and by this it attracts thousands of worshippers and tourists. Vangeliya Gushterova (1911 – 1996), is the full name of the prophet, was famous around the whole world with her multiple prophecies which had come true.

Thessaloniki

Thessaloniki is a Greek port city on the Thermaic Gulf of the Aegean Sea. Evidence of Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman history remains, especially around Ano Poli, the upper town. The ruins of Roman Emperor Galerius’ 4th-century palace include the Rotunda that has been both a church and a mosque. Much of the city center was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1917. The rebuilt 20th-century city has a modern European layout.

Program of the trip

Day 1 – Sofia 

Arrival to Sofia. Transfer and accommodation in 3* or 4* hotel in the center of the city . Overnight.

Day 2 – Sofia city tour 

After breakfast – panoramic tour around the Bulgarian capital and visit to the most interesting historical sights: the Rotunda church of St. George , the St. Nedelya church, The cathedral of Alexander Nevski, the Parliament etc. Afternoon departure to Bojana church – one of the spectacular UNESCO treasures. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 – Sofia – Sandanski 

After breakfast – departure to Rila monastery, one ot the the biggest Bulgarian medieval spiritual centers. Lunch befor visiting.  Departure to Sandanski. Accommodation and overnight in 3* or 4* SPA hotel.

Day 4 – Free time and SPA treatments 

After breakfast – free time, SPA and  leisure. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 5 – Free time and SPA treatments 

After breakfast – free time, SPA at leisure. Possibility to make SPA treatments. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 6 – Visit of Melnik and Rupite

After breakfast – departure to Melnik. The town is an architectural reserve and well know as the smallest town in Bulgaria, Luncn and wine tasting on spot.  Departute to Rupite. The famous Bulgarian clairvoyant Vanga chose Rupite for accepting her visitors for a good reason. This village is believed to have a very strong positive cosmic energy, which can be found only in two other locations in the world—Argentina and Indonesia. In the aftrenoon- departure to Thessaloniki. In the evening, accommodation in 3* or 4*  hotel. Overnight.

Day 7 – Thessaloniki

After breakfast – guided tour in Thessaoloniki . Free time. Overnight 

Day 8 – Sofia 

After breakfast – departure to Sofia. In the afternoon – arrival in Sofia. Accommodation in 3* /4 * hotel in the center of Sofia. Free time. Goog bye dinner.

Day 9 – Departure 

Transfer to the airport and flight back home.
