Program of the shopping tour

Day 1
Arrival to Sofia airport. Transfer from the airport. Your chauffeur will drive you to the center of Sofia. Check in to your centrally located 4* or 5* hotel.
Head out for a fascinating guided walking tour of Sofia with a little culinary surprise at the end of the walking tour – lunch at typical Bulgarian restaurant. The restaurant “Hadjidraganov’s Houses” located in the center of Sofia consisted of four restored houses from 1866 year representing architecture and style from beautiful Bulgarian towns Koprivshtitsa, Zheravna, Melnik and Bansko, combined with a joint yard and a beautiful summer garden.
Here we offer you extensive menu with Bulgarian recipes and wines. In the evenings there is live folklore music.
The end of evening is free for you to unwind and explore the town by night on your own. The main street of Sofia – Vitosha street is full of life with vibrant cafes, pubs and bars.

Day 2
Breakfast. Day for shopping.
Sofia is a great place to visit not only for sightseeing but also for shopping. The small streets hide unique stores where you can find what you are looking for at a very attractive price. That is why we suggest you to spend a day in some of the most popular shopping places here. We provide value to shoppers as well as fun and informative, interesting day out in fascinating city of Sofia.
In Sofia you are able to visit renowned shopping centres filled with international brand-name stores and coffee bars. The first place is the Central Sofia Market Hall which is situated in the city center, near the Baths (mineral water springs) facing the mosque and the synagogue. The Market Hall is covered market since 1911 and today is an important trade center. Today people go for shopping every day for fresh product and other items. Tsum Retail Centre – an upmarket for clothing, jewelleries, perfumes and homeware shops which was previously a state department store built in 1956. Take a walk along the Area where Designer’s Clothing shops are. Graf Ignatiev Street is the common shopping street in downtown and has a lot of small boutique shops for clothes, shoes, bookstores etc. Get the taste of local food and drinks during your shopping experience and learn about the social lifestyle, tradition and culture in one of the top affordable cities in Europe.
Lunch is on your own. After lunch we continue our shopping tour to one of the biggest MALL’s in Sofia by car.
Dinner at restaurant “Shtastliveca”. This is the restaurant that will make you feel at home.

Day 3
Breakfast.
Transfer to Edirne, Turkey.
Check in Hotel RYS 4* in the center of Edirne.
You will visit to very well-known and must see parts of local daily life and historical places of Edirne. Today’s trip includes the following sights:
Selimiye Mosque – the most impressive monument of Ottoman architecture style. It was built by Mimar Sinan who described this mosque as “This is the work of my mastership”.
The Old Mosque – the oldest mosque in Edirne, is famous with big works of calligraphy on its front side.
Bayezid Medicine Complex – the largest Ottoman spiritual and physical welfare complex. There was a medical center, which is converted into a “Health Museum”, in the complex. You can get to know the development of medical science (especially mental illness) of Ottoman.
Meric Bridge is 263 m lenght and connect between Karaagac village and the city center. It was built by Sultan Abdulmecit in 1842.
Tower Gate is also known as Makedonia Tower, Fire Tower, and Clock Tower. Actually, this monument was the one of four towers of Edirne Castle. Then it was converted into a clock tower which was burn by a fire.
Dinner at hotel restaurant Virgo. Contemporary and authentic designed Virgo is located on the top floor of RYS. Vargo is the only address in the center of the city with a unique city view and you can see the city from a distance and see the two neighboring countries, Bulgaria and Greece. You will have a pleasant time with delicious food from the skillful fingers of master chefs, each crowned with degrees.

Day 4
Breakfast. Day for shopping in Edirne.
From the old bazaars to shopping malls Edirne holds a fascinating mix of old and new — making it the perfect destination to stock up on traditional arts and crafts as well as modern fashion.
Lunch and dinner are on your own. Confito recommend to try lahmacun and pide. Both dishes can be made with different types of meat or cheese if you prefer. The center of Edirne is full of sweet shops offering traditional Turkish desserts – baklava, lokum (Turkish delight), halva and many others.
Overnight.

Day 5
Breakfast and transfer to the ancient town of Plovdiv, which will take around 1.5-2 hours.
Accommodation in 4* or 5* hotel in the center of Plovdiv. After that city tour of Plovdiv and Old Town of Plovdiv.
Time for lunch in the heart of the Old Town – the gallery-restaurant Philippopolis. The exclusive seasonal menus are a fusion between national flavors and international delicacies. Plovdiv’s Main Street is the longest pedestrian street in Europe, and all 1.8 km of it are lined with stores. Start your shopping spree in the heart of the city by exploring some of Plovdiv’s top boutiques and department stores.

On request a personal shopper will be your guide and will give you suggestion on your purchases, helping you to choose the best items and at the same time you will discover the main shopping streets. Before carrying on with our spree we will stop at the Café/Brunch house to refuel some energy before visiting the shopping centers that are Mall Markovo Tepe and Mall Plovdiv – they both carry a wide range of brands from shoes to handbags and some very elite shops.
Dinner is on your own this evening. Confito recommend the restaurants at Kapana (The Trap) district. You will find there galleries, workshops, ateliers, studios, cozy restaurants and shops, as well as other art spaces.

Day 6
Breakfast at the hotel in Plovdiv.
Return transfer to Sofia.
Check in to your centrally located 4* or 5* hotel.
Enjoy some free time in the afternoon to explore the capital of Bulgaria even further or relax in your hotel room.
Tonight marks your last night together and you celebrate this tour with a dinner at the hotel restaurant to share your experiences and stories over a few glasses of Bulgarian wine.
