Breakfast at your hotel. Sofia sightseeing tour incl. Vitosha Mountain. Lunch. Shopping tour. Cocktail tasting and dinner. Overnight.

3rd DAY

Breakfast at your hotel. Departure for Lovech via Sedemte Prestola Monastery. Visit to Pravez. Lunch in the Vodenitsata folk-style restaurant. Proceed to Lovech for dinner and overnight in the 3-star, 4-star or 5-star Lovech Hotel. 

4th DAY

Breakfast at your hotel. Visit to Troyan Monastery. Sightseeing in the village Oreshaka. Lunch. Proceed to Veliko Tarnovo, the capital of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. Dinner and overnight in the 3-star, 4-star or 5-star Veliko Tarnovo Hotel. 

5th DAY

Breakfast. Sightseeing of Veliko Tarnovo incl. visit to the Tzarevetz Hill; a walk along the Samovodska Charshia. Lunch. Visit to the picturesque Arbanassi village and the Preobrajenski Monastery. Return to Veliko Tarnovo for dinner and overnight. 

6th DAY

Breakfast at your hotel. Departure for Kazanlak via Dryanovo Monastery. Visit to the village of Bojenzhi – an architectural reserve from the Revival period and the Etara – the open-air museum of the old Bulgarian crafts. Lunch. Visit to the Shipka Memorial Church en route. 

Proceed to Kazanlak for dinner and overnight in the 3-star, 4-star or 5-star Kazanlak Hotel.

7th DAY

Breakfast at your hotel. Visit the Kazanlak tomb. Lunch. Drive to Bachkovo Monastery and Plovdiv for dinner and overnight in the 3-star, 4-star or 5-star Plovdiv Hotel. 

8th DAY 

Breakfast at your hotel. Sightseeing of Plovdiv incl. The Old Town, the Antique Amphitheatre, the Balabanov’s cottage, the Ethnographic Museum, the “St. Konstantin & St. Elena” Church. Lunch incl. wine-tasting. Departure for the Borovets winter Resort for dinner and overnight in the 3-star, 4-star or 5-star hotel in the area of Borovets Resort. 

9th DAY

Breakfast at your hotel. Performance of Orthodox service in the Rila Monastery. Lunch in the Riltzi restaurant or similar. Departure for Blagoevgrad. Accommodation in a 3-star, 4-star or 5-star Blagoevgrad Hotel. Dinner and overnight. 

10th DAY

Breakfast. Sightseeing of Blagoevgrad incl. a visit to Varosha – the old part of the town, an architectural reserve. Lunch. Departure for Sofia.
